The Design Process

Because Varuso Homes house plan design work is done in-house, the process from “Concept to Reality” allows for the customer to be apprized of the cost for a particular design immediately.

Varuso Homes no nonsense approach to producing pratical plan designs has gained them a reputation of building affordable homes that have the appearance of much more expensive ones.

Construction of Your Home

Our current building time is approximately 6 months. Time factors to consider are land condition, style, size, and unforseen delays like weather and material or labor demands.

Questions & Answers

Question:
How can I be sure the contractor is bound by all the terms and conditions of our agreement?

Answer:
Once the terms and scope of work to be preformed is established, a contract spelling out the details is drawn up and agreed upon, and the plan, description of materials and contract are all signed documenting the agreement.

Question:
Will I be involved in the product and decorating selection process?

Answer:
Yes, you will be allowed to choose certian products from pre-selected suppliers, and will be furnished with an allowance schedule and description of materials list to assist with those selections.

Question:
Is there any initial cost associated with "The Planning Process"?

Answer:
No, if the proposed plan is one of our designs on our lot, there will be no charge for minor alterations.

Question:
How much per square foot do you sell homes for?

Answer:
From neighborhood to neighborhood prices vary. Lot costs differ because of location or infrastructure cost due to terrain conditions plus labor and material availability are factors. Other reasons that drive up the per foot cost are items like foundation conditions, complexity of house design, ceiling heights, custom interiors and exterior amenities. Once those items, products and allowances are identified, a final price can be determined.

"Finding a Varuso Home available after Hurricane Katrina was a true blessing. Randy had built our previous home that was lost and we were truly pleased. "
